PICNIC TO PEOPLES MALL,BHOPAL

8/12/2015

Students of classes IX to XII were taken on a picnic to PEOPLES MALL, Bhopal, on 8th December, 2015. The students travelled the 150 kms journey to and fro in the comfort of the school buses accompanied by the Principal and teachers of the senior section. Needless to say that despite the long journey there was never a boring moment for them as they sang, danced and played games all along the way in their respective buses. On reaching the Mall they were ecstatic as they were treated to the magnitude and opulence of the place which is comparable to the best in India. The Gaming Centre, 7D Theatre, Amusement Park, Water Park, replicas of the 7 Wonders of the World and various adventure sports had the students engaged and amused throughout the day. High quality breakfast and lunch took care of the taste buds and settled the hunger pangs. Although 3:30 P.M. was the scheduled departure time the students successfully pleaded to the Principal to extend the time and finally left the park at 5:00 p.m. Students and teachers alike enjoyed their stay at the park. Many students particularly the class XII students expressed their thanks to the Director and Principal for making their trip a memorable one even as they remarked to the guardians who came to receive them from school that ‘Paisa wasool hua.’
